Originally trained as a fine artist, Jennifer continues to create art in different media. 

 Jennifer explores the ecosystems using all her senses and distills them through the lens of a farmer through historic and modern art and craft practices. The exploration of landbased materials, form, function, need, and creativity drive the creative process and final result.

This holistic perspective has deepened Jennifer's sense of being in a living landscape and a connection to past and future generations.
